“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.” —Plato
When you talk about marriage do you think of a song? Sometimes? Do you and your spouse have a favorite song? One you danced to on your wedding day. This heart song in Platos quote is a much more fine-tuned melody than the songs we listen to on the radio. The heart song is sometimes unexplainable because it is a feeling of deep love that can be complicated to describe in words to anyone except your love. The only one who knows the song too. The one that you sing with without using words, only feelings. And even then, maybe it’s a knowing that just goes by the name Love. Spirit gave us a beautiful gift in clear knowing or claircognizant. A sheer knowing and if we listen softly, we may hear our own heart and the heart of our loved one singing together in poet form like Plato mentioned in his wisdom. Think of the times you make eye contact with your lover and both smile, is that music? Yes, it is. Think of the children you’ve made together or are planning in the future, is that music? Yes, it is. Spirit gave us all of eternity to make music and sing a love song. We are truly blessed in life.
