Death is new life. The soul/spirit without the burden of the body continues through eternity. I've suffered tragic death with two of my brothers one year apart. I believe our loved ones who pass become free without the burden of the body. The soul is free and with God/Spirit. At peace with earthly death, the spirit lives on in harmony with our
world and with the spirit world. Is heaven a place we go to when we die an earthly death or is heaven a place we experience when we are at peace with our soul?
Tragic death is devastating. A person may feel helpless, like they should have done something to save their loved one. This is difficult. God works in mysterious ways. Personal responsibility and the eternal progress of every human soul help to find answers. We are all connected as human souls, and we are all separate in our spiritual path. When we think of the loss of a loved one, do we think of the grim reaper, but do we really? I think it's more like feeling an absence or a void that you, living here on earth, must learn to live with, eternal progress of the soul.
The void, staring down the void dark and hopeless. Does it help to hear; this is where the light can shine its brightest? Not at the time but it’s set up for when you are ready, personal responsibility. We may remember this simple antidote and slowly start seeing the light, imagining that light breaking through the dark. Our loved one returns to us in spirit and the emptiness is suddenly filled with a new way of understanding death.
